1990 National Title...has it really been 25 years?

November 12, 2015, on a Thursday night at home versus Virginia Tech with a national ESPN audience will be a special night in so many ways for Tech fans and the program. Tech has designated that game as 1990 Championship Celebration.

I'll state up front that Shawn Jones remains my favorite Yellow Jacket of all time. One word to describe him... clutch!

I am hopeful Tech will throwback that night with the best looking uniforms ever...

And, can't wait to hopefully see this guy as well...

Should be a special night and likely lots on the line for the 2015 Jackets as well. We've never beaten VPI&SU two years in a row. Let's hope the Bills and Jets are stinking it up so more football fans will be watching the ACC game on ESPN instead of switching over to NFL Network after the 1st quarter to check out the NFL game. Even those who do, at least 1 quarter of eyeballs could be positive exposure.

I'm sure that Colorado Buffaloes fans will be tuned in as they recall the famous 5th down that let them lay claim to part of the 1990 NC.
