With all due respects to my friend, Top10B, who I am advocating to be the next President of the United States of America - or at least the Lady Old Fart Party candidate - I give you the Top 10 upsides to a meltdown crappy season...

10. My blood pressure improves as I am not worrying over games, rankings or late game collapses because we are never ahead to start with.

9. Less time worrying over winning and being relevant gives me more time to be productive such as updating my lifelong toejam collection, adding to my extensive portfolio of nudies of Ernest Borgnine and Abe Vigoda, or finding a really good wine that goes with fried pickles.

8. Whenever the announcer during the game claims Paul Johnson has an answer for every tactic the opposing D-Coordinator deploys, we can all say "yeah right".

7. My DVR has more free space these days.

6. There's all kinds of stuff written about learning when faced with adversity. I hope we've got a whoooooole lot of learning going on right now. (though I find the learning when overcoming adversity a lot more fun)

5. This season allows us to compare to other meltdown seasons in the past and perhaps set new benchmarks for modern day meltdown"ness". You know, in the future we can use 2015 in sentences like.... "well this team isn't as bad as that 2015 team" or "enjoy the moment, at least it isn't 2015".

4. I highly doubt any of our players, coaches or fanbase are walking into 2016 overconfident.

3. I never thought I'd look so forward to the GT Men's Hoops season just a few weeks ago as I do now. Go BasketJackets!

2. Likely far more parking available, less traffic, more room to spread out inside stadiums, and the like at our games the rest of the way. Even the scorching 68 degree temps at Bobby Dodd may feel cooler too with all that less hot air in the stadium.

and...

1. Maybe, just maybe mind you, all these young fans who whine and moan and bitch about how bad a 7-5 season is as they've never experienced a true meltdown kind of season in their lives will STFU and experience a REAL one to make them appreciate the current complexion of GT FB where winning 6 games has been the floor for this program.

Meltdown still TBD of course. Win right after Turkey Day and it's been a good season still in my book.

No more meaningless chatter about how meaningless our meaningless exhibition game streak is....I mean was.

If we don't win out will we get the number 1 draft choice ? If we do I'd look hard a a good back-up Long Snapper.

With that kind of thinking, you will easily obtain an executive position with *MY* Washington Redskins.
