THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s basketball will appear as many as six times on the three primary ESPN networks, four of those before the Christmas break, and have two other early national TV appearances on FS1. The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the full schedule of tip times and television coverage for all 15 teams on Wednesday morning.

Tech’s games in the Fort Myers Tip-Off (Nov. 21 and 23 on FS1), Iowa in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge (Nov. 29 on ESPN2 or ESPNU), Georgia (Dec. 6 on ESPN2), North Carolina (Dec. 10 on ESPN) and Clemson (Dec. 21 on ESPN2) are slated for national television coverage, along with the Yellow Jackets’ Feb. 21 game at Pittsburgh (ESPN network to be determined) and March 4 at Boston College (ESPNU).

Nine of Tech’s ACC games will be aired on the ACC Network, as well as the Jackets’ Nov. 17 non-conference game against Northern Illinois, while seven other games will be broadcast on the ACC’s Regional Sports Networks (including Bally Sports South in Georgia).

The Yellow Jackets open the 2022-23 season on Nov. 7 at home against Clayton State, and open their ACC schedule at North Carolina on Dec. 10. Tech still awaits word on a tip time for its Nov. 12 game at Georgia State.

Information on season tickets for the 2022-23 Georgia Tech season is available here.

The Yellow Jackets return eight letterwinners for head coach Josh Pastner’s seventh season on The Flats, including senior point guard Kyle Sturdivant (Norcross, Ga.) and senior center Rodney Howard (Ypsilanti, Mich.) who are Tech’s top two returning scorers. The Jackets’ core includes a trio of rising sophomores in Dallan “Deebo” Coleman (Memphis, Tenn.), Miles Kelly (Stone Mountain, Ga.) and Jalon Moore (Birmingham, Ala.) and junior point guard Deivon Smith (Loganville, Ga.).
