Not my thoughts, but a good friend's, whom I'm in complete agreement with:
"You know what's different for me this year for Tech football. Even though we're losing, I don't feel like I need to hide the fact that I'm a Tech fan. I think that comes from two things: one is that we had a really good season a year ago and so, even though we're not good this year, we are capable of being really good; the other is that I think we have a good coach that is committed to the program here. In other words, we're a good program having a down year.
I have no hesitation telling people that I'm going to Tech games for fear of some ass wipe comment like "why don't you go watch some real football." Also, we're not getting blown out, except maybe by Clemson. The games have been close. So, even though we're losing, we're in the games.
We're capable of winning the next three games, I absolutely believe. Will we? Probably not, but whichever ones we do, it'll be fun doing it. I predict we beat VT soundly, lose to Miami (we have no idea how to play on the road), and play another FSU like game to beat a mediocre UGA team at home. 5-7...no bowl game, bad season, but I'll remember beating FSU, VT, and UGA"
