Score more than the other team. This works everytime .

Next we still need to find GTJT's lucky hat.

We've tried scoring more than the other team. While it has worked, I far more prefer giving up less than the other team. Of course, offensive people are offensive to me. I like defense. But, you knew that already.

My dad told me over the phone the other night that he could tell me what the score is going to be before the game even starts. He said "zero to zero". It is incredible insight like that which keeps me in awe of him and once again explains why he shot up the organizational chart so quickly as a young man back in the 50's.

Your Dad is a smart man, I'm still looking for your hat, I'm thinking ESPNj has it.

Why give up FG's don't let them score. No points for ND is a Tech win.:)

Dodd's way, and quick kick on third down. I getcha!

Paul's way is score or give 'em the ball deep, just try not to punt. Control clock, no turnovers or penalties to kill drives. Occasional FG on 4th and more than 5, or to end halves or to tie/win games.

With an inexperienced QB, I think Brian Kelly will test how our 1-techiques on the DL hold up against his talented offensive line. The last time Jabari was in against this level of competition, he was a linebacker. I'd go after Jabari and Gamble (who is really a DE) early and often if I'm in Kelly's shoes. That's the matchup I'll be watching closely in the early stages of this contest. If we can force a stalemate deep in the trenches on defense, we'll win this one.

That's out of necessity. On this team he has to play the 1. But he's not a 1.

Gamble is definitely not a 1. That would be Qua Searcy. Gamble is a 91.

I must admit I do like a player with the name Gamble. Seems appropriate.

We still must work harder to be as creative as those wacky Mountaineers...

Again, seems appropriate.

Who is that sitting next to Dingle and Berry? Dyke?

I might not stop laughing until Stech chimes in with 90 something bottles of beer in their stomach. He will lead us into a Countdown of on the 94th day before Christmas, West Virgin-ia unplugged a certain Dyke...fall, a la, fall a lot....
