Coach Harmon has a loaded roster this year bringing everybody back. This is a deep talented team who should be very very good. It's nice to talk about a Tech Athletics program these days with high expectations. We don't have very many.
After the season opener tomorrow, the team goes to some non-team prep play at the Michigan Invitational before coming home for real to host one of the sixteen NCAA (Indoors) Kickoff Weekends against Bill & His Old Lady. With a win against the Tribe on Sat., Jan. 23rd, the T-Babes will have a shot the following day against either LSU or DePaul to qualify for the NCAA National Team Indoors Championships Feb. 5-8 at the University of Wisconsin. The T-Babes of course won that prestigious event several years ago.
If this T-Babes team can play to its potential, it should contend for the ACC title and a Sweet 16 (or better) run at the NCAA Championships in May at Tulsa.
