We went from the Sweet 6(led by that pumpkin pie with a beer in both hands)to the Hateful 8(still have not seen the movie, but you know it is Tarantino)with some unique banter while hiring a coach to now losing 7 of us to Ole Sissy or Missy. I'm following Cullen to Oxford if those 5 blondes are real. Insert smiley face here.

I have to admit, it is stuff like this that is every day making me sick of college athletics and turning more towards following other sports - the NFL in particular.

I've always said the y = f (x1, x2, ..., x50) formula that takes on many factors to choosing a college is a difficult one to predict. Most of the 50 x's seem legit. But, when a kid is basing part of his decision on an X that is who makes the uniforms, then that kind of does it for me. Silly. Unbelievable.

Atlanta Dream, WNBA:
Second consecutive season that Louisville star Shoni Shimmel has arrived out of shape, per Mchael Ccoper-H.C.

....and....

I don't think this will happen. ESPN will lose much of their recruiting hype machine with this change.

Agree it won't happen. Don't think ESPN will be the rationale though.

The general rule is this with F'd up D1 CFB...

...if it makes sense, it won't happen.

...if it is really stupid and based on stupid history that favors the factories, it will stay as-is.

As a fan of ACC Hoops, I would love this. I really hope it happens. Further, I'd like to see the extra added 2 games starting in December (which may be necessary anyway so that may be a moot desire). Tasting ACC Hoops before or around Christmas works for me. Not much going on in the middle of December after the regular season and FB ACCCG anyway and before the meaningless exhibition season begins for those who care about it. Fill that void with some meaningFUL ACC Hoops games? Count me in!!

edit note: same wish applies to WBB...wish they'd at least go back to 18 games instead of 16. I know there are cost concerns, but it can work. note, ACC WBB played an 18-game schedule for one season ('12-'13) before going back to a 16-game schedule.

Seems like this could help a potential ACC Network giving it more inventory as well - both MBB and WBB and fill some void time in mid-December in particular as stated above.

Helps those RPIs, allows every fan to witness an extra home conference game(hopefully a team they otherwise would not see for that season).
