Andrew Marshall is working at RG some and worked with the twos and ones some. He was switching with Shamire Devine a lot. Eason Fromayan ran with the twos at RG. Gary Brown was at LG with the twos behind starter Trey Braun.
All four main DTs, Gamble, Kallon, Hunt-Days and Gotsis ran with the ones today.
Justin Thomas played well, but the OL struggled some at times, JT had to run for his life a few times. He was in a yellow non-contact jersey.
Shaun Kagawa had an interception.
Matthew Jordan threw a TD pass at QB to Brad Stewart and Jordan also played some reps at A-back.
Nathan Cottrell on crutches with his right knee in a brace, Quaide also in red along with Kenderius Whitehead (should be back anyday).
Defense got the better of the day for the most part, very typical for the first scrimmage of fall camp.
Was told it was an up and down scrimmage much like most first go around in scrimmage. They rep a lot of guys who won't end up playing the first two times so those younger guys tend to mess things up for the others.
