CPJ was pretty agitated with the offense and in particular the WRs and ABs. Essentially the offense got bottled up inside the 20.

Justin Thomas said they moved the ball from the 30 to 30 fine as an offense but put the ball on the ground or couldn't connect on passes. Justin said the issues in the passing game are not protection, but getting on the same page with the WRs and ABs with all the new faces. Said that is something he will have to fix himself in the offseason.

CPJ and Justin both gave some praise to Marcus Allen said he is running the ball hard. CPJ said that Leggett's pad level and toughness are issues. Justin said if he can keep working hard he might be a good fit there.

CPJ said that Adam Gotsis and Jabari Hunt-Days are unblockable. CPJ said that Jabari is strong and quick and he plays the snap count better than the offensive linemen. Said that is Francis Kallon continues to come on they will use Pat Gamble some at DE next season.

CPJ said that pass protection has been surprisingly good. Said balls are either not caught or thrown over guys heads.

CPJ said that last spring the offense struggled at times, but nothing compared to this year.

CPJ said he thinks the team is significantly better defensively especially at the DT position than last year. CPJ said that Kenderius Whitehead makes plays at end but he often gets the wrong guy in the option game.

Antonio Simmons is up to 230 now from 199 when he got on campus. Said he wants to play this season at 235. Tyler Stargel is up to 265 now and is probably headed back to SDE.

A-back Dennis Andrews got dinged on a bit hit along the sideline. His status is TBD.

A-back Clinton Lynch had a 47-yd TD run. Harrison Butker hit three field goals on three attempts including a 48-yarder.
