Defense won the day at the scrimmage, PJ said it was very rough especially offensively.

Justin Thomas only played a few snaps and was in Yellow so have can't be tackled to the ground when he is in the game.

PJ said the center production with the walk-ons and Brigham "was not good" but they did not fumble an exchange.

PJ said they really struggled upfront. Jabari Hunt-Days blew up Trey Braun a couple of times and dominated the OL. The DL rotated with both the ones and the twos.

PJ said Francis Kallon made some plays was nice to see. CTR said he saw a "spark of life" from Francis and they hope may be it is clicking finally.

PJ said the only time he noticed Quaide or Lynch. was when they screwed up, said they will be fine.

CPJ said the C.J. Leggett did okay at B-back.

CPJ said the first team did not have the ball out.

CPJ said there was only one touchdown and a couple of field goals. PJ said he feels better compared to last year when the offense would score 5 or 6 times in a row against the D. Said the defensive is looking better.

Demond Smith left the scrimmage with an undisclosed injury. Shaun Kagawa stepped in at strong safety and had a very good scrimmage according to the other players.

CTR said they had four bad defensive penalties, offsides, two personal fouls for late hits on the QB, a personal foul for shoving and a facemask. Said that can't happen.

Zach Allen had a pick six

CTR said that Tyler Marcordes and Anthony Harrell had a good scrimmage.

Adam Gotsis had a fumble recovery.

Beau Hankins had a fumble recovery.

CBC said that Matthew Jordan was a little up and down today.

CBC said that JT had a nice play-action pass to one of the A-backs on the seam route.

Shamire DeVine was also out today on the OL.
