With all the reflections on the big win at Wake it's easy to overlook the importance of PK Aidan Birr's contributions to the victory. Though 2 of his three field goals were what matters call "chip shots" there's been no sure thing with the Tech kicking game the past few years. While Stewart was consistent at the end of last season the 40+ yard kicks didn't happen. To see Birr drill tha 48 yarder with plenty to spare was big kick and hopefully a good sign for what's ahead.
