Starting August 1st schools can officially offer SAs for the 2017 class. It tends to cut some of the clutter of offers and separates the schools kind of messing around with kids. This is a good time for SAs to reevaluate their position and typically we see a bump in commitments when kids realize that Bama offer they thought they had wasn't real or insert whatever school.
GT is focused on some elite back seven targets Warner, the Swilling boys, Bonds and is looking for interior DL for the class with some height on them.
Obviously attrition and injuries and lack of production during the season could color the remaining skill positions but as of today

And then they have some play with OL or a skill position guy on offense like Jalen Holston. Jay Jones could move somewhere on offense quickly if he struggles at QB so that is another reason why they are holding off on offering any WRs or ABs in this class after loading up. I also expect GT to play at least one of the frosh WRs for class balance if they can handle playing time.
