New WR target has emerged, Vero Beach (Fla.) Michael Smith, GT, Pitt and ND battle right now. GT offered today. He will visit next weekend. Very high on him, 6'2" 205, big, quick and productive.
DL wise, Antwan Owens is set for his visit next week. He is a weird guy, but GT has a good feeling about him.
Another strange cat is Jordan Ponchez-Mason he is actually considering Iowa State some. He doesn't like talking so I'll see what I can dig out. I'm sure that Candeto and CAM will be up to see him next week.
Safety and CB wise, Tariq Carpenter (UCF commit), T.J. Carter (Memphis commit) and a few others.
Avery Showell and TD Roof are slotted to play more of a hybrid S/LB position via the nickel spot. Jalen Johnson will see time there as well as they try to get more athletic.
