Cruz never spoke out or was responsive when Collins was fired, but his reaction was similar to those that did respond when the news first dropped.
"I kind of knew something was coming," he said. "There was a lot of speculation, so I wasn't really surprised. It hasn't changed the way I look at GT at all, or the commitment I have to go there. I'm still 100% with Georgia Tech all the way."
Auburn, Pitt, and Duke are among the new schools to enter the mix. Auburn's DC will actually be at their game on Friday.
