Moved Jalen Johnson from safety to WR, he wasn't going to play at safety he was behind a bunch of guys at both spots. CPJ said he had done it in HS and was a guy they would like to see get on the field somewhere.

Freddie Burden and D.J. White were back today, CPJ said the only significant two-deep injury is Mike Summers right now, they hope to get him back by Monday so he can play Thursday. If not then Ricky Jeune and Brad Stewart would start.

Ike Willis and Broderick Snoddy will likely start against Alcorn State, CPJ said six could play in that game before they narrow the rotation at all. CPJ said both Mikell Lands-Davis and TaQuon Marshall could play.

CPJ said they will practice Tuesday, Wednesday and play a simulated game on Thursday then the players will have Friday and Saturday off before going again on Sunday and Monday in full game prep mode.

CBP said that Stewart has really taken advantage of his opportunity and they are happy with how he is developing. CBP also said he wants to see Ricky Jeune get more consistent and Mike Summer relax more in the game so he can play to his full ability. CBP said Summers was having a good camp before his injury.

Trey Braun talked up Will Bryan again, said the other OLs really like how hard he works.

Braun said he has been focused on his scoops.

Willis said he is probably the best blocking A-back right now and he followed Robbie Godhigh's footprints on how to get on the field as a walk-on and end up on scholarship. He hopes to surprise some people.

CPJ said Pat Gamble will play both DE and NT, will depend on matchups week to week where he lines up. Said he wasn't going to tip his hand with any other defensive stuff before game week when they will release a depth chart.
