CPJ said preparation was fine up until the end of last week and this week has been good. He wants to see how Thursday goes.

CPJ We had two good days of practice

CPJ said the OTs are the same as last year just have to play better. Said practice has been fine.

CPJ said Marcus Marshall has to earn more reps, he could play more if he earns it and get more physical. He has ability.

CPJ said Skov will get better the more plays and his vision will improve. Said he has only been here a few games and fall camp. Said his issues are correctable in practice and he is doing better this week in practice with it.

CPJ said Butker is really good in practice, said he was good in the last regular season game (UGA) and good on clutch kicks in other games. It was one of those days for everyone, not just him. He is kicking great in practice and warm ups. He has to quit thinking so much. Really good ones just go kick it.

CPJ said it is better for GT with a fast start, said they have trouble handling adversity sometimes when they don't start fast.

CPJ said it will be big on return coverage for both teams. Duke gave up one last week and both teams are working hard on it.

CPJ said they didn't know about the footing issues at ND, they didn't have the right cleats for it. It was a problem. Said the turf is the same as GT only spongy and longer.

CPJ on Sirk runs a lot of read option and they have made him pull the ball and he is the runner. You can force him to be the guy if you want. He completes a high percentage and doesn't turn it over much.

Said Northwestern ran some zone and forced some check downs in third and long, which is good, said Northwestern tackled well. Said Duke's backs catch well and they run screens and flares well.

CPJ said he has the same approach win or lose every week, just tries to be consistent and put it behind them.

CPJ talked about five to play five years again. Blanket five years to play and some will play all five and some will play just four and go pro or whatever. Said most kids take five years to graduate. CPJ said the kids tend to do better when they are playing in school because they are more engaged and it would give depth for special teams that is needed. CPJ said it has been talked about in coaching meetings and most coaches are on board for either more ships or five years.
