CPJ hopes to get back Mike Summers by Sunday so he can play against Alcorn State.

Chase Martenson is out with a injury and they moved Brady Swilling back to #3, but Matt Jordan would probably play if needed in a game situation or they would burn Christian's shirt if it got that far.
CPJ said that most of the penalties happened this camp in the kicking scrimmage, said that is typical as they get used to it.
CPJ joked that 20 guys are on the bubble, some will dress but will hold out as emergency guys.
Lynn Griffin said the nickel competition is pretty fierce and close between him and Lawrence Austin. Said that they both expect to play and both really know the defense well.

Kenderius Whitehead got demoted to the scout team. CMP said he hasn't given up on him, but told him to get it together and he will be back up. He has trouble playing in the framework on the defense. Tyler Merriweather is also on scout team since they decided to redshirt him as a sophomore. Scott Morgan hurt his hand or wrist and is in a cast, but playing on the scout team.
CPJ said they are rotating some of the young CBs and ABs back and forth between scout team and varsity.
CMP said that Roof will decide next week if Hunt-Days or Gamble starts at NT for Alcorn State, said all three will play a lot and Kallon as well inside and Gamble will flex out to DE as well.
