Going through and looking at the roster there are quite a few guys that I am really looking forward to seeing by the time fall camp comes around. My guys are:
Offense
Marcus Marshall - Easily our biggest homerun threat of the returners that we have seen play meaningful snaps. We will know by fall if fumbling is a true problem or just an aberration last season.
JJ Green - Really not sure what we are getting. He has a mature body though and as long as he can pick up the offense it sounds like he has some wiggle and a little bit of power. Think he brings something different to the table than what we had at the AB position this past year.
Ricky Jeune - A player I was vocal about heading into this past year. I think he did some really good things this past year but just wasn't consistent enough. I don't know what kind of heart this kid has and how bad he wants it but if he wants it I think he can get it. All the tools, just needs to pound the weight room again and he could become special.
Gary Brown - It's time to live up to the hype... We have shoes to fill on the O-line and now is the time to shine.
Defense
Keshun Freeman - Didn't see the impact I thought I would this year but I know this kid is a hard worker and another 6 months in the weight room should be what the doctor ordered. Lets get home next year!
Kyle Henderson - Likely starter as I just don't think Kallon has it in him. Replacing our best player from last years defense. If I could pray for anyone to grow and improve the quickest it would be Mr. Kyle, vital to solidifying the front line.
AJ Gray - This kid is going to be special. All over the field last year, whether he had missed assignments or not, I'm not sure. Expect a huge impact in year 2.
Brant Mitchell - Love him. Thought he was excellent this past year. Expect even better play in year 2. Have all the faith in the world in the linebacking core next year, unlike this year.
Lammont Simmons - On the scout team and I heard excitement about him so I'll roll with the coaches and expect him to help out at a position of need next year.
