...and Saturday during the Pitt. game, Paul "PJ" Davis told the trainer and coaches that he was going back in the game so not to come out again(even though previously having to be helped off the field by two grown men holding him on each side).

Mr. Bryan, we could see your pride at YJA when your son walked down the parade before making his first start. I know we don't grade film traditionally, however I thought he made the family proud.

I hope Paul and Ted did not go to sleep last night, because I didn't. We need this to bee like after the Heel game in 2014. Back to the drawing board...blitzes, stunts, take-aways...play downhill, attacking DEFENSE!

I guess I need help . I still want to see us turn this around and win. I still stand up and cheer. I guess I'm a lost cause because I want Tech to win. I live for football season . To the players who care I'll keep cheering. All I ask is to play you best. If you get beat because someone is better than you I can live with that.

CRR all I ask of you is to bring the Pressure please stop playing the bend and don't brake defense.

This won't help you brother, but a lady said to me "I am looking forward to basketball season", after the game yesterday. My son looked at me and said "That is terribly sad and pathetic". I told him that was how it was before you were born. He is almost 17, so he has never experienced this.

CBG had a recruit at the game, therefore I did not approach them. Just waived upon walking by.

Looks like GT will need a miracle to extend its bowl streak.

Amazing, I never thought I'd see that happen this year. Not at all in my expectations.

My first inkling was during the 2nd half at South Bend. I still had some optimism driving down to Durham, but caution indeed. When I saw that debacle, I told those around me that this was going to be a loooong season with potential for a meltdown type.

The schedule has been very difficult as we expected. Games 3 through 8 feature teams who have maximum 1 loss and 2 teams still undefeated (Pitt might still be if Iowa had not hit a last second FG to beat them in Iowa City).

We have little chance to win against FSU, but then the rest of the games are winnable. I don't think we'll win them all - hopefully we'll get at least 3 - but I'll settle for just one right after Turkey Day to salvage some sense of calm and happiness for this year. Yes, it's boiled down to that.

If you had told me back in December 1996 that it would be another 19 years before the Jackets stayed home for the holidays, I would have told you to stay off the heavy drugs. Been a nice ride for the most part. Hopefully we bounce back. I think we have significant issues though.

The main thing I miss about Tenuta's defenses at Tech is those guys set the tone. They rarely conformed to the opposing O or allowed it to set the tone. For every time his blitz happy attack got burned there were at least 2 or 3 big plays for Tech. This defense and the ones thru pretty much the entire CPJ era? Not sure what its identity is.

Can't find any good adjectives to apply. Opposing defenses have tried to mix things up against our O this year. Duke was very good at it in fact. Defenses can set the tone like Tenuta's guys did. Miss those days. Convinced we'll never see them under this coaching regime. Unfortunately our fanbase has accordingly been brainwashed into the belief that we must outscore every opponent and though I understand why, it is sad.

With your bevy of trophy wives at your disposal, stech81, I figure covering a tight end is not a problem for you. My guess is they are also wide receivers. But, I digress.

Two tight ends are better than one.

and can be hard to cover.

If the biggest complaint we have with our defense right now is inability to cover the tight end, that would be a sign that we are doing really well...and perhaps are at least 5-2 right now. I'd love it if that was our biggest concern. *SIGH*

To Hell With Lindsey Wilson!!

GO REINHARDT!!

Who would have thought that the Decatur St. Dandies and their following, would have the same amount of wins as the YJ's?

Wins are on about equal caliber, Balls St., NM St. vs. Alcorn St., Tulane Greenies.
