Fairly long, but there are a ton of quotes and is an excellent read on Ron Cherry's famous "giving him the business" call on NC State. Also buried in that article I didn't realize that Cherry was nearing retirement but forced to leave officiating in 2016 after being knocked out cold and receiving a concussion from a collision with USC linebacker Michael Hutchings. Cherry had to have 2 surgeries to remove pressure on his brain. He was always a character.
