Saw this come across on my alumni email and seemed like something that some on here may be interested in. Basically, one of the DC area alumni is running a marathon in Antarctica to help raise funds for the Georgia Tech DC Softball Scholarship Endowment. Of all the sports at Georgia Tech, the women's softball team is the only one that does not have an endowed scholarship.
