Wow!

Vad Lee will be the BMOC.

Just got an email from JMU Athletics. I knew JMU was in consideration, but very surprised and pleased they are giving some D1AA love to the Dukes.

Carry on!

Do I need to send his statue?

Yes. Also, please send the Myles Autry statue, good sir. :D

Further, please send 622 cases of Bud Light to:

Mr. Throbbing Python Of Love
622 Steve Wilkos Lane
Le Frenchy Trailer Parke
Charlottesville, France

glad to see gameday is trying to give some other parts of the football universe some love. I tire of the same locations year after year. plus all the talk on the show is about the same teams week after week. Do something original haw about it.

Just closing this out...

The good: JMU had a great showing and the Game Day this past Saturday is being hailed as one of the best ever, if not the best. Clap clap clap to the Dukes faithful.

The bad: Vad Lee was injured in the 2nd half (foot) and missed the 4th quarter. He has already been ruled out of this upcoming Saturday's important game at Bill & His Old Lady.

The ugly: The loss by JMU not only potentially cost the Dukes a bye in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, but it likely cost them the CAA championship.

Oh well. Carry on!

Yes, great times had by all...until they couldn't stop the Richmond running back (who scored 5 TD's). Corso coming out as James Madison at the end was a classic. I've read multiple comments by the crew that JMU set a new standard for the 3-day event.

Vad Lee's college career is over. Has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to surgery today to repair his left foot injury.

This was in the JMU release FWIW...

Off the field, Lee, who was a team captain in both years as a Duke, is a model student-athlete both with his academics and community outreach with the youth of the Shenandoah Valley. Lee is very active with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and last week was featured by FCA Magazine in a story called “Heart of an Athlete,” in which he was able to talk about faith playing an integral part in his growth to become the man and leader he is today. A public policy and administration major, Lee will graduate from JMU in December.

Thanks, Vad Lee. It has been a pleasure watching you both in gold & white and purple & gold.

edit note: a classy message board post to the JMU fans from Vad Lee... http://csnbbs.com/thread-755062.html
