How tough is the A.C.C. and how difficult is it to get a win at Clemson's one-season home rental in Greenville?

Joe Lunardi has the French (who the Jackets beat) as a #1 seed in this week's Bracketology projections - along with the Cheaters also as a #1 seed...and Miami as a #2 seed. Clemson is not even considered for the field per Lunardi. Therefore, the French should rip the Orangenecks tomorrow night, right?

Well, don't tell the experts in Vegas that. The French have "only" been established as a 3.5 pt favorite tomorrow night in Greenville.

Hokies take down the Panthers. This now creates a 4-way logjam for 6th place in the A.C.C. at 9-8 including the Hokies, Pitt, Clemson and Syracuse.

Buzz Williams continues to do a great job. They have now won 4 straight and host red hot Miami this upcoming weekend.

Pitt heads to Atlanta having lost 2 of their last 3.

Not worthy of a thread of its own I don't think, but it's bizarre to watch how CBB has changed these days. I don't think it is just CBB.

I'm watching a good SoCon Tourney game right now between The Citadel and Mercer. I just watched The Citadel get a defensive steal and had a 4 on 1 situation on a fast break. Let me repeat...not 2 on 1, not 3 on 1, but 4 on 1.

It might not surprise you that 3 of the 4 ran to outside the 3 point arc instead of them all attacking the basket for what should be an easy layup. They didn't score on the break, btw. By time the ball handler pitched it out to one of his 3 running mates outside the arc, Mercer had gotten back to defend out there. Amazing to watch. Kind of pathetic really.

I guess I'm just old school. But even then, it's really stupid basketball.

You are the sane one. Take the high percentage two by driving in. If the defender is in too deep, go straight at him as it can't be a charge. If stationary outside of the bottom arch, dish it to the other side for easy righty lay up as he can't react in time with a no look pass.

Austin Peay is upsetting UT-Martin by 9 with 5 minutes left in the 1st half in the Ohio Valley Championship with the winner cashing its ticket to March Madness. I hope Austin Peay wins so during March Madness fans can enjoy their fans' great chant...
