Will try to update this weekly on Mondays as best as possible...conference games only...

Games this week...

Wed. 7:00 - Clemson at North Carolina (ESPN-2)
*Conference opening game...Tigers have never won at Chapel Hell

Wed. 9:00 - Syracuse at Pittsburgh (ESPN-2)
*Pitt and Gonzaga had their season opening game suspended in Japan midway through the game due to excessive water on the floor they couldn't control at the military base...since then, Pitt has left the Steel City just once for a game (a decisive win over Davidson in NYC)...they host once again...note, they (finally) travel to Notre Dame in game 3 of the ACC schedule on January 9th

Sat 12:00 - Georgia Tech at North Carolina (ACC Network)
*Tar Holes open with 2 straight home games...Tech opens ACC schedule on the road for the 3rd straight year...last time Tech won an ACC opener was Dec. 4, 2005, over Virginia at home (read: 10 years ago)

Sat 12:00 - Florida State at Clemson (RSN)
*ACC opener for the Noles, who play at arch-rival Florida Tuesday night in their final non-ACC game

Sat 2:00 - NC State at Virginia Tech (RSN)
*Will NC State benefit from students not back in session when they visit Blacksburg?

Sat 2:30 - Syracuse at Miami (ACC Network)
*Will try to update this with link to affiliates listing later in the week when available...Cuse opens with 2nd straight road ACC game

Sat 4:30 - Duke at Boston College (RSN)
*On paper, this should be a massacre

Sat 5:00 - Notre Dame at Virginia (ESPN-2)
*Perhaps the game of the week in the ACC...the last 2 ACC champs meet in Paris

Sun 8:00 - Wake Forest at Louisville (ESPN-U)
*The premier game of the ESPN-U Sunday night ACC package

after the drubbing Clemson took in their last game. They will most definitely remain beaten in Chapel Hill...

Syracuse and Pitt will most likely be the best contest of these games.

I expect WFU to take a bigger loss than BC.

Some point spreads of note for Saturday's games...

FSU -1.5 at Clemson
Ga Tech +13.5 at UNC
NC State -1.5 at Va Tech
Syracuse +11.5 at Miami
Duke -15 at Boston College
Notre Dame +9.5 at France
