Mark Price experiencing growing pains in 1st year as Head Coach

Henry "Bruce" Dalrymple is right on target with his remarks. They played hard, had a sense of urgency. The chemistry was developed until perfected. I witnessed them from photo. day, all the way to the Georgetown game as a season ticket holder. One difference was the care/concern for each other. If one had a weakness, the other four covered it up. Put each other in spots to be successful with or without the ball. Unselfishness. Mark was a quiet leader. From day one, he and Bobby told Salley that his place was inside. Worked him in the weight room, with Yvon who was a natural specimen(had to learn the game like a kid with a new toy to play with). Practices were open to us, and man did they work at their craft. Competitors!

As a side note, I learned not to sit too close in Alexander(we didn't have The Zelnak Center)-or yours truly located his track skills trying to chase Mark around and getting picked by Dally.

Price has years to go before he's the head coach many think he should be. There were some people who thought GT should have hired him after Hewitt was dumped. Price may be a good coach before he's done. Being a head coach is not easy to pick up quickly. If it is in his heart. he will make it.
