Who was incharge of the coordination of the uniforms between GT and Alcorn State? With both teams wearing gold pants, it was at times hard to keep track of which team was which. You'd think we would have told Alcorn State's people to wear white pants or something.

Schools are allowed to pick their outfits road colors and what not. You are the first person I've heard say they had any issues identifying players.

With how friggin beastly Skovand Marcus Marshall looked, will marcus Allen now medically redshirt? And Quaide?

Put down the crack pipe son. Why would Marcus get a medical. Chill...

Who holds the power to change the CFB playoffs to an 8-team format, and is there any real push to move towards that? In your opinion, what will it take to get to an 8-team playoff?

Television money will push it that way. ESPN has driven this whole thing with money, but if they continue to have issues with rights fees it may take longer to get a playoff.

Serious question: Will the first team O & D get enough quality snaps in the first two games to be ready for ND in game three, or is it more important that they be rested and fresh if we cruise through Tulane like we did Alcorn St?

I'm not sure they will "cruise" through Tulane like that and only have to play a half. I think it may be harder to be Notre Dame and have to play Texas and UVA first and half to fight harder (maybe).

What is different in a 69-6 drubbing of Alcorn St versus the 70-0 beat-down of Elon in 2013? The 2013 season didn't go so well after that opener.

You have a different memory of 2013 than me. The team had QB issues and was not primed for some epic season. They lost two games, VaTech and Miami because of terrible miscues by Vad and lost two others by UGA in double OT and Ole Miss by a single score. It is all about the QB play and that is why they won a lot with Nesbitt and JT and not as much with TW and Vad.

Were there any 2016/17 recruits at the game? Did you get any feedback from them?

Not really, like I said most kids were getting ready for HS football games and not able to come and the dire traffic alerts kept the others at home. Stuart Head and Kurt Taylor and three of his teammates were there.

How is MarcusAllen's ankle?

Will find out tomorrow.

Did anything in the Thursday night game surprise you (good or bad)?

I was very pleased with the young A-backs and some of the WR blocking as well. I thought that Antonio Simmons looked much better and I see why they are playing Anree Saint Amour since he will eventually grow into a Derrick Morgan sized DE and play opposite KeShun.

How did the A-back and wide receiver blocking look?

For the most part a lot better than I expected as I said above. The real key will be how they get more athletic guys on the ground and we won't find out about that until Notre Dame.

How bad did UNC make the ACC look?

Meh, those are two bottom half of the league teams. UNC lost because their head coach out coaches himself in the classic offensive coordinator as a HC method. SC is probably a Pitt or VaTech level team so it isn't like Vandy beat them.

Do you think Louisville can beat Auburn?

I did think they would give them a game and they did.

Did Kurt Taylor have a good time?

Yes, he loves him some GT and he had a few teammates with him.

Just saw a tweet abouta deleted tweet from Marcus George's Hunt saying he was gone from the bball team?

He says it was a joke...

Before the ULM game the OL main backups were Marshall, Bryan and Klock. In the game, Whitley also played a lot. How did these four OL reserves grade out?

No idea, LOL. I'll ask Sewak tomorrow.

Which younger 2deep players both O and D graded out well and we should feel good about fulfilling potential?

Again, I'm not sure how people graded out, you have to know the calls to really grade guys IMO. I also got a little tuned out in the second half getting stuff ready to post on the site.

Anybody have a disappointing game?

I wasn't thrilled with Francis Kallon's pad level at times, but he also played way more than he ever has in a game. Kenderius Whitehead was kind of a one note guy, just ran upfield a lot. Corey Griffin had a terrible game as well. He got burned a lot.

If Rodwell developed the yips holding in the spring and botched one Thursday, why not go to Byerly now?

I have not watched that on replay, but it looked like the snap was high and inside and he misplayed it. Live it was hard for me to tell who botched it, but I will say he needs to field that one. Butker has chemistry with Rodwell holding, so much of kicking is mental, do you really want to throw away two years of those guys being in sync???

After seeing Georgia tech against Alcorn st and NDagainst Texas, who wins that game?

What GT-Notre Dame, ND was a lot more impressive than GT, so you aren't going to get the answer you want. Right now I would say GT would lose on the road to ND.
