With the upcoming College Football Playoff, I sincerely hope the NCAA
will design a more fitting Championship Trophy. Whenever I see anyone
handling the current Crystal Football, the look on their face is ALWAYS
the same ... "Lord, PLEASE, Do not let me drop this thing NOW". They
look like a Bull in a China shop. Crystal and Football?..... NOT! And
let's be honest.... It really isn't attractive. C'mon guys... you
wouldn't even know what crystal is, if your girlfriend didn't tell you.
Over
the years, the Stanley Cup has been raised over the heads of thousands.
The World Series Trophy, the most beautiful and appropriate, in my
humble opinion, is certainly striking and unique. The Lombardy Trophy
and NBA Trophy are appropriate and beautiful in their simplicity.
