Mike London - extremely likely will be fired at season's end

Frank Beamer - will he resign or stay? I can't see them ever firing him. He may want his son to be named HC which would be interesting given Bud Foster's service there.

Al Golden - already fired earlier tonight as expected.

Mark Richt - likely safe...buuuuut, if the cheaters get pounded by Florida, Auburn and lose for the 2nd year in a row to Tech, his seat will at minimum become very very warm. Hopefully, Tech will do its part to contribute to the fire (pun intended).

Imagine what Coach Johnson could do with uGA's talent. It really is amazing how much talent they have and how they continue to fall short almost ever season. What's their record against top 10 teams under Richt?

I admit when I started this thread a week ago, I had no idea Beamer would be announcing his retirement, but now that is done. The heat on Richt will be brewing if they continue to fail this season. Golden was already known to be gone and even with the win over Tech I think London's days are done - if you got any shots of the stadium this past Saturday, it reminded one of what Duke's WWS looked like for a 2-decade stretch prior to Cutcliffe getting there (and even some of his early time). I can't imagine London being able to survive the depths of apathy that has evolved in Gay Paris.

Considering he's owned us pretty much, I would love to see Richt leave. And, I guess that is meant as a compliment to him. They have the #1 QB in the nation committed. While Kentucky is yet another putrid team they will beat this season, I think Auburn, Ga Southern and Tech all have legit shots at beating them. And no, I'm not kidding about Ga Southern.

Was just telling someone on the phone that playing Southern @ UGA on the money line is a really good long shot bet. I hope that upset doesn't happen because it could come back to haunt us. I don't want any sort of loss that might re-focus that group. I do think we have a legit shot at beating them this year.

I hope that upset DOES happen. It will be hilarious. And, at this point, I don't really care what their frame of mind is. I'm more worried about ours. (dang, that sounded very Paul Johnson-ish didn't it?)

If Southern goes in there and beats them, I will LMAO! I think it will demoralize them even more. A bunch of 4- and 5-star future trash picker uppers underachieving to monumental proportions.

Using Sagarin's power ratings as a guide, if games were being played right now, the following would be the point spreads...

GT vs Va Tech - Jackets favored by 4

GT at Miami - Pick 'Em

GT vs Cesspool - Pick 'Em

The game in Sun Life Stadium is our most daunting challenge going forward. I wish they hadn't fired Al because their gap integrity was terrible when he was at the helm. Here's to hoping that their 4 & 5 star guys on defense play their assignments with the same discipline that their former head coach taught.
