2017 schedule should be out soon. Perhaps we can discuss it once released here.

Fall practice is in swing and the Fall "World Series" is on the horizon.

To start things out, Doug Roberson of the AJC reports the ACCT (now at Louisville) is moving from 10 teams to 12 teams... http://www.myajc.com/news/sports/college/acc-baseball-tournament-announces-changes/nsmXm/

4 pools of 3 teams each. Winners of each pool advance to the semifinals on Saturday. Championship on Sunday. Only 2 (of the 14) teams miss the ACCT.

This (4 pools instead of 2) should be better on the pitching staffs that don't advance but are headed to NCAA regionals.

Seems weird with just 14, I wonder if Syracuse will ever add baseball

Having been born right next to Syracuse in Binghamton, I can answer the 'Cuse question. As my buddy who moderates over on the Swarm says: "Cooooold, no!!!"

When we camped out in June, July and August overnight, we woke up with our you know whom frozen solid in the morning.

Can't wait to discuss Beesball, my favorite sport to watch and participate in. I've player/managed softball and adult baseball teams. Thanks for posting, guys!

At GT, they still haven't printed the Basketball schedules. I end up always writing up my own one for beesball.

FWIW, Virginia released its 2017 beesball schedule today. A sign that perhaps ours is any day now.

I'm hopeful Tech releases the '17 Beesball schedule this week.

tick...tick...tick I NEED THE POTTY

Hoping to see Jonathan Hughes back 100%...if not this fall, certainly by spring.

Also, if Zac Ryan can get his mojo back, that would be a helluva pump of adrenaline for this staff and team.

Further...curious to see if Tristin English will be throwing off the hill any this fall. CFDH said he may have the best stuff of all of our pitchers which is quite a statement.

I have no clue as to what's taking so long to release our schedule. Baffled.

OF Daniel Palka
Palka is a safe bet to be added, considering his immense power, as he smacked a combined 34 homers between Chattanooga and Triple-A Rochester in 2016. Acquired in the trade that sent catcher Chris Herrmann to Arizona before last year, Palka is expected to make his Major League debut next season.
