Pine Forest High School is once again one of Florida's top programs streaking through the regular season (9-0) ready to make another run to the state championship game. The defense has been stout again thanks in part to the play of three-star Georgia Tech end commit Elijah Douglas.
Douglas committed to the Yellow Jackets on June 12; he updates his relationship with the staff.
“It is pretty good,” Douglas said. “Since coach (Geoff) Collins got fired, I have developed a stronger relationship with coach Kenyatta Watson (dir. of scouting) and coach David Turner (AHC); they really like me. They see me helping the program and helping with the team’s success. They really like me a lot. I talk with coach (Brent) Key here and there.”
If Douglas can find a ride, he is wanting to take a game-day visit to Atlanta this weekend to watch the Yellow Jackets take on the Hurricanes.
