Kirk Herbstreit(great first name)believes GT is the real deal and the Irish know to be ready to have their LBers chopped:

In other life preserving news.... Corso wanted Gameday close to his friends in Tallahassee this weekend via Tuscaloosa as a temporary post to keep his rental car safe.

Allow me to parlay my pick of this game(not that I could actually pick my own nose out of a lineup filled with Mountaineer Moose): Kirk Macs loser, Catholics by 10(31-21). No the Pope won't save them from the Stingin Bees that will honeysuckle the green right out of their fish-fried gills. 80k, mostly leprechaun looking little life waifs will be wailing wafers around dinner time.

I welcome other prognostications, as my local Priest is not going to absolve me after this venal sin.

If the defense is as good as ( I think ) they are GT will win. If not the last team with the ball will win.

Hello,

I am hoping for a great game with no injuries. The injury bug has again hit ND hard this year. Starting RB, QB, NT, TE and Nickel Back (covering slot receiver) all out for the season all ready.

Before the season I saw Georgia Tech as ND's second toughest game. Your play so far gives me no reason to move the Jackets down on that list. In fact, I think you have national championship potential.

I think the Irish will come out inspired, but you guys are very good.

My final four:
OSU (schedule absolutely sucks - Virginia Tech was their second toughest game. Wow!)
Alabama - Only SEC team with one loss
TCU - Baylor at home. Toughest road game is very beatable Oklahoma
Georgia Tech - Beat ND this weekend and toughest game may be at Clemson. I don't think they are as good as in some of the previous years.

Again, let's hope for a great game with no injuries on Saturday.

I am waiting to see what the defense can do against a top 10 offense.

I am not sure what to expect from NDs talented players on offense. The injuries will bring inexperience to the game. But these guys are still very good college players.

I don't expect GT to score on every possession, and I expect VanGorder will have his defense working hard to force turnovers. Quick to the transition points.

Should be a fun game.
