"One of the largest stadiums in the SEC is due for an upgrade, and it’s about to get it. Tennessee’s Board of Trustees have reportedly approved a $106 million renovation to Neyland Stadium, the second-larges"
The above to me is not earth shattering news. Probably isn't to you either. What is disturbing is they just did an $83M renovation to their stadium in 2010. That's 6 years ago people. I still believe GT should be injecting all excess capital into differentiating itself as a renowned sports research institution. Even attempting to copy the facilities arms race is simply an idiotic strategy. Would amazon go after Walmart by building 100k sq ft stores in rural markets? GTFO and think for a second! Innovation is the only way we can win over the long term!
