Love this one... http://rubbingtherock.com/2016/02/16/georgia-tech-to-white-out-clemson-football/

Georgia Tech announced today that they will have a whiteout game against Clemson football this coming September when the Yellow Jackets host the Tigers.

Clemson football is the team to beat in the A.C.C. this coming season. Because of that, you will see teams have special promotions when the Tigers come to town due to the importance of the game.

Nevermind the fact Tech does this goofy copycat whiteout thing whenever and whoever we host on Thursday night games in recent years.

To start with I hate Thursday night games. Not crazy about a whiteout but it's better then a November game. We can beat Clemson at home but I don't like the idea of 3 games in 13 days. This is where we need Depth , get some of the subs in the 2 games before this game

Mercer should be a glorified scrimmage, though I expect the Bears to bring 5K or more fans into BDS which should be nice. Our guys will be re-acclimating themselves from a long trip (and first for many I suspect outside the USA and/or to Europe) coming back from Ireland.

Vandy plays pretty good defense, but offensively they were butt ugly this past season. Will be more of a test than Mercer most likely, but still we should roll them. Key word of course is "should". Based on what we saw last year other than the 2 cupcakes, we will struggle to roll much of anybody other than Mercer. Then again, perhaps Mercer & Vandy = Alcorn State & Tulane???

When our guys return from Ireland, they don't leave the state of Georgia but once for a couple of days to Pittsburgh over the next 2 months.

The first 3 games will give our offense time to get things right. I know jt622 your a defensive guy how are you seeing our defense this year?

2017 should be a good time for the Tech Defense and the Braves attendance numbers.
The old wait until next year theme, correct?

JT622, didn't your Dad play baseball at Mercer? Are they not affiliated with the campus off I-85 in Chamblee/Atl.? They are both "Bears"?

Well then you need to have a meeting with Ted and lay the law down with him. ;) I'm going to have lunch with CPJ and go over the offense with him next week.

Oct. 29th is HC vs. Dook.
You bring the beer ? Would be great if jt622 could make it this year. Jt622 I still have an open ticket if you need it. And you will see I have done a good job with my daughter she is all Tech. Buzzforlife found out last year

I got the beer/alcohol and breakfast if early(Silver Skillet)or lunch at Cookout on Ponce near Krispy Kreme.

Daughter is all gold, pure winner! Great job by stech81 living up to the fight song!!

My son is trying to get into a late basketball league. He is recovering pretty well. Me, I need a good spring out of beesball. Teetering on manic with these winter sports hoop-fallout.

Glad to hear your son is doing better. My wife still have 25 more days of Radiation. Grandson doing great.

Glad to hear about Grandson. For an 8 y.o. to go through all that, it just is not right. Prayers going out for Wife's full recovery.

I met a young woman radiologist at Sibley Heart/Cardiology the other night at Dave and Buster's after finding her clutch on the ground while turning it in. She came and sought me out to thank me. We exchanged hugs, I learned some folks have it really hard as single parents. She had a two-year old and two she is a step parent for. The little savings can be on a bank card and inside a wallet. Wonder how many people carry around medical supplies like we have to?
