GT Women vs. Tigers(w/ a lake)....

Thanks for posting this, mate. Weather and power cooperating, I plan to watch this game via ESPN-3. Any chances of building a resume' worthy of a WNIT look needs wins. We have pretty much dominated the Kitty Cats over the last decade, but this is one of the weakest LJ's teams I've seen in a while so nothing is guaranteed.

(hoping to see some youngsters getting more PT for future building...and potentially avoiding mass departures out of frustration with lack of playing time)

On the bus with about 40 Jackets' fans ready to cheer the team onto victory. Look for us behind the bench.

Edit :across from the bench. The view from behind the bench was terrible. Go Jackets!

Sloppy 1st quarter. We hit some nice 3's. Peresson got us off to a good start. Nice couple of treys by Gari. Clemson is not good.

Blow 'em out, Lady J's. Show no mercy.

Why the hell are we playing a zone defense? When you have the talent and athletic advantage? And, it's not your bread and butter. Very odd things going on with this program right now.

Glad to get the win. Aaliyah was incredible. 31 pts and 9 boards.

Nice contributions from Zaire and Kat in the 2nd half.

I'm sure there is much more to this story, but it certainly doesn't read very well for Coach Jo and the program... http://temple-news.com/sports/fountain-cardoza-share-hometown-roots/

As a freshman, Donnaizha Fountain walked through the main campus of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta during the summer of 2013, looking for assistant coaches Sam Purcell and Sytia Messer.

As the now-sophomore guard walked through campus, she couldn’t find them.

Purcell accepted an assistant coaching job at the University of Louisville, and Messer became an assistant coach at Baylor University, leaving Fountain at Georgia Tech without the two coaches who recruited her.

“I didn’t know they left until I got there,” Fountain said. “[Georgia Tech] thought they pulled one over our eyes. No one notified me.”

In her 2013-14 season at Georgia Tech, the Roxbury, Massachusetts native played 216 minutes in 21 games, averaging 3.3 points per game.

After losing trust in Georgia Tech coach MaChelle Joseph because of Purcell’s and Messer’s unannounced exits, Fountain transferred to Temple.

Are you not familiar with the NCAA issues surrounding Sam Purcell during his time at Tech?
You can read about it here.

Sorry.. I'm not good with using the "quote" function on this board. That would be in response to "BUZZFORLIFE". Sam's a good guy but misleading the head coach about NCAA infractions is no bueno. (Sorry about the many edits.. and the all caps on the handle.. I keep getting Buzz's icon!)

I don't want to cast aspersions on any coaches or staff members, especially at my Alma Mater or our beloved GT. It really goes on "at all programs". The major infractions is where drawing the line should be in those thick rule books for firing any coach. I'm not saying that lying to an associate, administrator or recruit is not wrong. Particularly, when it was done intentionally or compounding it after the mistake. Since we have been in the ACC, our student athletes have knowingly sold their Tournament Tickets in the two major sports over and over. Going through other parties to do it, is still being fully culpable in intent. I think you would be shocked to know exactly how much a head coach has to overlook.
