I posted this on another site earlier today when the news broke on Marshall. I thank both MM and DW for their time on the flats. They both contributed in many different ways to some big wins this year especially MM.
That being said, and I don't want to sound like a jerk but GT will win with you or without you. We have over 100 STUDENT-athletes that are busting their asses every day in the classroom, weight-room, and field. We are going to be a successful football program as we have been the last 20 years with the exception of the one fluke of last year. Our program is in great hands with CPJ and the AA is now in great hands with TS.
GT is a special place and those that can make it through and get a degree will see that one day. It will provide you with opportunities an 18-22 year old can't imagine. I am as excited as ever about where we are and where we will go. We have a lot of work to do in facilities but on the field we are close. Recruiting is going great and folks do you realize we have won 2 of 3 from the mutts and there is no fear of them anymore.
Get behind this program and the players that are here. Lets move on from the ones that don't want to be here. 9 wins after the bowl win and a very promising roster and schedule for 2017. Enjoy this folks, I sure am! THWG, and Go Jackets.
