Tech Florida State is an underrated series that is one of the biggest casualties in conference expansion.

Tech started the series 7-0-1 before Bowden got the program moving.

FSU then went 7-0 through 1998 during their hey day, blowing us out in every game except that disastrous 1992 game (their first win in the series).

1999 was the start of what has turned into an incredibly competitive series. We lost the next games but were all very good games (and in a couple of instances, classics). We would have finally broken through under Gailey if the series hadn’t been halted by expansion. 08 and 09 were absolute classics. The next two were also great games in the ACCCG (1 of which I thought we were undermanned substantially but somehow managed to possess the ball with a chance to win at the end). We won the next two (one a classic the other a hard fought win with a true freshman Sims in his first game). We then lost in a blowout as Key was trying to turn around a disastrous start to 2022 after Scoot was canned.

Looking forward to another entry in an underrated series
