THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s basketball has added a game against Clayton State to its 2021-22 schedule. The teams will face off at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23, filling what was previously a bye weekend on the slate. The Atlantic Coast Conference has also rescheduled the Yellow Jackets’ conference game at Syracuse for Monday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m.
The Clayton State game replaces the Dec. 23 game against Alabama A&M, which was postponed. Tickets and parking permits for the postponed Alabama A&M game will be valid for the Clayton State game. Season ticket members who are unable to attend at the new date and time can exchange their Alabama A&M tickets for any remaining home game through their online account – www.ramblinwreck.com/myaccount.
Questions or issues regarding tickets can be addressed with the Georgia Tech Ticket Office via e-mail at tickets@athletics.gatech.edu.
The Tech-Clayton State game will count on the Yellow Jackets’ 2021-22 record. The Jackets and Lakers met once previously in an exhibition game prior to the 2014-15 season, Tech winning 74-41. The Lakers compete in the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference.
The Tech-Syracuse game, originally scheduled to be played on Dec. 29, will be televised on the ACC’s Regional Sports Networks (Bally Sports South in Georgia).
Under the ACC’s modified 2021-22 COVID-19 Game Rescheduling Policy, the following previously postponed games have been rescheduled:

- Wednesday, Feb. 23 – Syracuse at Notre Dame, game time and TV network TBD (originally scheduled for Feb. 22 at 9 p.m.)
