Golfing J's at Puerto Rico (Feb. 21-23)

GJ's finished strong today to get back in the red at -2 and in 8th place. Hopefully that finish will translate into a solid round 2 tomorrow at one of my favorite places in the world, Puerto Rico.

Jacob Joiner's -4 is tied for 3rd in the individual medalist leaderboard, 1 stroke back.

Golfing J's now up to -11 (-9 for the day), in 2nd, and only 3 strokes behind the leader Bama. This is a very young team as we all know (no seniors on the team). We are going with 3 Sophs and 2 Jr's this week. Finishing in the top 3 at this competitive tournament with some of the best teams in the nation would do wonders for CBH's squad in terms of confidence.

Just looking at the A.C.C. teams in this tournament, you have #8 Cheaters and #12 Clemson.

6th place finish. Finished even par for Round 3 leading to a -7 overall team score. Chris Petefish played under par each round and finished -4 for the tournament. Right behind him was Jacob Joiner at -3.

Encouraging tournament for the GJ's. The team finished 2 strokes behind A.C.C. members, The Cheaters, and 9 strokes behind the Kitty Cats from Auburn with a Lake.
