I hope the GJ's get an at-large berth this year. Finishing 4th at the ACCT should help our guys' cause.

NCAAT Regional selections/assignments will be announced Thursday morning, May 5, at 9:30am via the Golf Channel and many tweets rolling them out as released.

The 6 regional sites to be played May 16-18 are:
  • Tuscaloosa, Ala. -- Ol’ Colony Golf Complex
  • Tucson, Ariz. -- Gallery Golf Club
  • Kohler, Wis. -- Blackwolf Run Meadow Valley Course
  • Albuquerque, N.M. -- Championship Course at UNM
  • Stillwater, Okla. -- Karsten Golf Club
  • Nashville, Tenn. -- Vanderbilt Legends Club
National Championship
May 27-June 1
Eugene, Oregon
Eugene Country Club

Watching the selection show now live on Golf Channel...getting ready to be announced

Golf Channel taking forever building this up. Good grief.

15 minutes in and 1 regional (Nashville) has been announced. Tech not in it. The French are the 5-seed there as the only ACC team so far.

Ga State also in our regional along with Wake and the Cheaters.

8-seed suggests as expected we were right on the bubble and potentially one of the last teams discussed to get a bid or not. The 9 thru 15 seeds are typically auto-qualifiers from small conferences.

Congrats to Coach Heppler and the young'uns. It's been a tough year versus our program's normal standards, but all that matters is getting to the Dance and our young'uns are now there. We've had far more talented and experienced teams come up well short at this stage. Time to get hot? You never know.

Playing at CJP's alma mater, U of Arizona. The Selection Committee has a sense of humor maybe?

Naaaah. Probably coincidence. Maybe CJP will give the team some pointers. ;)

Regionals will be May 16-18, Mon-Wed. Need to finish in the top 5 to advance to the nationals in Oregon.

3 more ACC teams in. Clemson, Duke, and Louisville at Stillwater, Oklahoma. Augusta also there.

That's 7 ACC teams in so far thru half of the regionals.

CJP to Coach Bruce Heppler: "Y'all come back now, hear".

Those 4 and 5 hour weekend days, with hi-balls and slow gin and vodka on the rocks...and Sofia behind the bush.

NC State to the New Mexico regional. 8 ACC teams in with 1 more regional TBA.

And, they are all accounted for. The Noles are heading to Kohler, Wisconsin. That makes it 9 ACC teams in. Louisville was the lowest seed among ACC teams at #10 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Good luck to all the ACC teams and especially of course the Golfing J's.

We have been soooo close coming in as a favorite, maybe we can win it all as a "middle of the pack" team?

Look at the Marlins, twice WS Champs as a wild card team.

Realistically speaking, if this Tech team can get into the top 5 in southern Arizona in a couple of weeks and qualify for the 30-team NCAA Championships in Eugene, that will surpass expectations IMO and be a positively-viewed season. This has obviously been a rebuilding season with young'uns learning on the job. Hopefully this experience will pay off as the entire roster returns next year (and almost all of it will exist 2 years from now in '18 as well). Future is definitely bright. And, you know CBH will continue bringing in top talent.

We're a golf and women's tennis school. Learn it, live it, love it. RED WINE

Vaseline hopes they keep the strokes up. Sorry, couldn't resist...JT622 gets all the good set ups!

Hey, Mr. 622-What would Carlin say about rebuilding or in Heppler's case a reloading season?

Carlin's thoughts on golf are pretty consistent with mine on lacrosse. So, I'll just stop there.

;)

Breaking my heart. You mean we can't be a Golf, Women's Tennis and Lacrosse school?

As George might have said: and I had such "high" hopes!
