FSU Defensive Strategy

It appeared to me that FSU chose to play primarily a straight 4-3 with the linebackers at significant depth from the line and only minimal use of run blitzes, gap pressure. Basically it appeared they chose to ignore the VT disruption strategy that has been used so effectively against us this season by many and instead play basic read & react assignment football. I believe that was doing us a big favor in that it allows us to run our offense with timing on the reads, positioning of pitch, etc in a non-pressured manner. Not sure we can rush for 261 yards and hold the ball the way we did if they play it like the others. I wonder what CK was thinking?
