FB: Gotsis and White receive NFL Combine invitations

Gotsis fits best as a two-gap DE in a 3-4 at the next level. In my opinion, the best case scenario for Adam is to go undrafted and have his agent hand pick the best situation for him. If the NFL is something he really wants, we will see him playing on Sundays.
I'm going with the DE approach.
White big enough for free safety? Can he hit hard enough? Has the ball skills for either corner, but the speed? Was good for the college cover 2!

Agree 100% Texwood on AG's chances at the next level. Hence, and I suspect you agree, why he is a late round projection or perhaps UDFA. His best "fit" at the next level is likely as you said in a 3-4 outside at DE. The NFL has zero film of him playing that role. He's been inside in a 4-3. And, the question marks around his knee do not help either.
He seems like the kind of guy Belichick would love if he isn't drafted. I'm hopeful 1-year-in Skins GM Scott McCloughlin, who is VERY good at what he does, will take a shot at AG.

What baffles my mind is how the hell the Patriots keep getting so damn many supplemental picks in the draft year after year after year. This year they lost their 1st rounder due to Deflategate lack of cooperation. But, as usual, those guys will pick up diamonds in the middle and late rounds.
Agree with the Pats. You would think Dimitroff would have learned something up there about top shelf draft picks, instead of having five 7th round picks every year-when they are almost equivalent to the free agent signings from colleges?
