Penn State finished 5th with 11-2 record, won the Big 10, and beat Ohio State head to head. What kept them out?....an OOC loss to state rival Pittsburgh in September.
M&M making a case that if P5 champions got an automatic birth, that scenario would encourage more tough OOC games.
Could the message sent from this years "committee of 15" be all that matters is being in any P5 conference and only lose one game?....then you are in.
