Those two units said get on our back and we will give you a wild ride tonight. I take back every smart ass comment about our defense & special teams I've posted on here. Amazing performance by those units this evening. Being a Tech fan has its moments, and this is one of them.

Enjoy it. Auburn fan here with a GT son. Kick 6's are rare and meant to be enjoyed.

Great job by the D tonight indeed. Some key plays bounced our way down the stretch...

1. FSU's first turnover with the INT in the endzone keeping it from FSU being up by 10, avoiding a FG to allow them up by 6, and keeping the score at 3.

2. Hitting Stewart on a likely-game-deciding-at-the-moment 4th and 5.

3. Butker making the FG to tie it.

4. And of course, the incredible ending. Any irony that last week a 56 yarder beat us at the end and this week a 56 yarder wound up leading to our improbable victory on the last play?

But, to your point, Texwood, the D was pretty good all night. They bent but didn't break. The lone FSU TD was set up by a terrible INT thrown.

Great win for the team. They deserve it.

Woohoo!

The 3-3-5 with Brant Mitchell at the MLB spot showcased a true freshman stud. We haven't seen LB talent like him in a long time around here. The 2015 class was great on paper, but it's even better on film. If we keep recruiting like this - good things are certain to happen.

Defense play good but Gotsis is a man.

Gotsis was a beast tonight. He was unblockable. He set the tone early and put fear in the heart of FSU's OL. The MVP of this game is Adam Gotsis. He's going to make a lot of money next year.

He will make a few more dollars them me.

If a statue of Adam Gotsis hasn't already been commissioned, it's time.

That's going to take a lot of beer cans, guess I'll need to drink more.

defense played a great game.

Had the offense not gifted FSU 7 points, they would have been limited to 3 FGs.

I hope they do that the rest of the year.

I just watched CPJ's locker room speech to the team. I absolutely second his motion of...

..."we're gonna run the table the rest of the way."

He's Paul Johnson and I approve his message.

:)

No doubt that is the goal. Win the rest of them. I hope the coaches can get as good a defensive game plan as they did against FSU.

The offense still has LOTS of room to improve. They aren't half what they were last year. for various reasons...

Finally, love the quote about Lance Austin " runs one kick back and he's going to be student body president"
