GT will play Thursday night in 2017 to open the season against Tennessee in the new Falcons Stadium. FSU and Alabama will play that Saturday in the Falcons Stadium as the other Chick Fil A game. This has been a not so well-kept secret. The Vols are moving a game against Southern Miss, so that has been the holdup in announcing the game.

For those wondering about sophomore center Andrew Marshall, he should be fully cleared shortly and there is not a scenario right now where he would redshirt this year. His shoulder is healed and he can start lifting and getting read for the season. He could end up starting at center with Freddie Burden at RG, if Shamire DeVine or Bryan Chamberlain can't get a handle on that spot.

OL Jack DeFoor is planning to visit Tennessee and Clemson next month and a decision should come for him by mid-June. Florida is also close to offering him now.
GT offered Jonesboro (Ga.) 2017 ATH M.J. Walker in both basketball and football. UGA also offered in both. Dan McDonald will catch up with him soon for a story, stay tuned... He is a much better basketball player than football.

Transfer PF James White from Arkansas-Little Rock has GT in his top 5 along with UGA, BC, Oklahoma State and Alabama. He averaged 11.9 ppg, 6.6 rpg and 1.7 bpg as a R-JR this year before he broke his tibia.
4-star Rivals 100 (81) 2015 PF Noah Dickerson has asked for his release from UF and GT could be a potential landing spot for him. Would be a HUGE get for Gregory. He was at one point committed to Georgetown before reopening his recruitment to go to UF.
