It will be interesting to see how much our mental games has improved since the last time we played them. We played well at Wake and Pitt, so I believe we play hard here as well.
Admittedly, I haven't watched Cuse play much as of late, but by looking at the box scores of their last 3 games, they look like some of our scores from earlier this year.
Duke 77 Cuse 55
Clemson 91 - Cuse 73
Pittsburgh 99 - Cuse 82
They're getting beat on the boards, and it appears that all three teams just played poised and moved the ball against the zone. Pitt had 27 assists on 32 made baskets. Duke shot 13/26 (50%) from 3; it's hard to beat any team that shoots that high of % on 26 attempts, but they still had 22 assists.
Same story with Clemson (28 assists). Poise and understanding where the ball needs to go (and when) against the zone is huge. If we can keep Girard in check, there is absolutely no reason that we cannot beat Syracuse.
