Kenderius Whitehead the former NC State and GMC pass rusher heads into fall camp as the number two SDE and he will be a nice compliment to KeShun Freeman give the Jackets are pair of athletic and quick sack masters. Whitehead along with Jabari Hunt-Days were the two missing pieces that may have given the Jackets defense a huge boost last year. Whitehead had to sit because of transfer rules and academic progress so now he can play the next two years and compete for a starting job this fall with Rod Rook-Chungong and possibly Pat Gamble at SDE.
