DL COACH:
“This will be my second year with Noah. He is the type of kid that every coach dreams of having. His natural ability on the football field is just off the charts. He works his butt off everyday anyway. He’s been having a really good off-season, and is setting himself up to have a HUGE senior year as the leader of our D Line. He leads by example. He is the type of guy that will be the first guy to our part of the field for practice EVERYDAY.”
“I think his biggest improvement throughout the year was his technique. Like I said he is naturally very gifted and athletic. Now, he’s to the point where his technique matches that natural ability.”
“Off the field, he is the type of kid that you’ll never have to worry about. He’s going to be where he’s supposed to be, and doing what he’s supposed to be doing. He’s also done very well academically, so he makes it easy for us coaches to not have to worry.”
“My goal each year is for all my kids to compete for a job as a freshman in college, so his biggest thing is that he needs to be physically and mentally readable to walk onto that campus and compete right away. I think he will be.”
FORMER COACH KENYATTA WATSON:
“I’ve known Noah since he was in 8th grade. I love this kid man. His best football is ahead of him. He has the frame be really big (275/280 easily)”
“He plays really hard and is extremely coachable. I’m really so proud of him.”
“He’s matured immensely since I first met him. Initially, he was just a skinny kid trying to figure it all out. Once that first offer came from Baylor, things changed. He began taking the weight room more seriously, and now fast forward to today, and he’s a stud with a super high ceiling.
FRED MITCHELL:
“The biggest difference between Noah now vs. Noah then is his growth! He has grown so much both on and off-the-field.
“One of his best traits is his motor. He’s relentless, and once he continues to grow within the game he will be a force.”
I’ve had no issues with Noah off-the-field. He’s great. His teammates would say he’s great too, he’s well-respected in that locker room.
“This is the end of his recruitment. He’s coming (staying) home.”
