If we could get Joe for another season, that would be incredible for the program, offense and team overall. It would also mean we would return 7 starters on offense next season (and Marcus Marshall being a VERY capable replacement likely for Skov's departed starting BB position...that is, if he doesn't take over by end of this year as-is...I think CPJ will eventually view BB as 1 and 1a by end of season kind of like he did with Zach and Synjyn a year ago).

We will of course take a huge hit on the D side of the ball next year in terms of losing experience and starters. We have a lot of talent to step up/in though. Because of the D this year, I think if Tech is ever going to win big, this is the year. Getting a brutal schedule this year (FSU and ND on the rotation) meshes kind of well in terms of having the team to face it - especially on D I'm saying.

I never worry about the offense. They just reload.

Keen observations. I'm with you on the D, they will be the difference maker in how special this season could be. I don't worry about the O, and this year ST looks deep and has components. If the wind is not blowing on KOffs, 10 can sit down in the middle of the field-while Butker smacks in over the end line. Another year in 2016 that I won't need ulcer medication watching that phase of the game.

I am so impressed with AJ Gray, that I find myself watching him on STeams. He is going to take one of those Safety positions. He has NFL written all over him.
