Crap! Dangit! Doo doo! Pee pee! (Welcome to the GTJT mild old school 1970's style profanity outburst) Dadgummit! Shoot! Darnit! Phooey! I'll be dadgum!
OK, now that *THAT* is out of my system, a frustrating week 2 of ATS picks wound up at 2-3 for the week and I am now a pathetic 3-7 on the season. But, I look at it positively in that if you pick against my picks, you are sitting at a cool 70% winning percentage so far. Last thing anybody needs is a 50-50 type of prognosticator.
Onwards and forwards to Week 3...
Air Force +26.5 over Michigan State, 12:00 ABC
Sparty won its big game over Oregon and is of course pretty happy. They should be. Patting themselves on the back. Dreaming national title dreams. Right where the AFA wants them. Getting almost 4 TD's? I'll take that.
Temple -10.5 over Massachusetts, 3:00 ESPN-3
The Owls have lost a couple of strong defenders from their stout unit due to undisclosed suspensions. This line dropped from opening at -13 to -10.5 pretty quickly. I am unclear if the drop is due to these suspensions, but I'll take the Owls who not many folks nationally are saying much about though they have beaten Penn State by 17 and won at Cincinnati by 8 so far.
Kansas State -9 over Louisiana Tech, 3:00 RSN
The line has dropped in LTU's favor due to Kansas State's starting QB being injured and out indefinitely. Overreaction IMO. I'll take the Wildcats at home - watch this line as it may continue to drop.
Kentucky +3 over Florida, 7:30 SEC Network
The Gators have a bunch of guys questionable including projected top 5 NFL draft pick, DB Vernon Hargreaves. UK finally got an extremely rare road SEC win registered at Columbia this past Saturday night and are full of confidence right now. I'll drink the Cat Kool-Aid this week at home.
BYU +16.5 over UCLA, 10:30 Fox Sports 1
No Taysom Hill? No problem. BYU's 24 and 25 year olds should be fine in the Rose Bowl and getting over 2 TD's? I'll take that.
