I was re watching our game against VT last night and I saw something that Bud does that our Oline does not adjust to. There was a play late in the 4th quarter. His DT's lined up in between off tackle of our offensive tackles. When they lined up our Olinemen just kept that gap open. Sure enough when the ball was snapped the DTs, both of them, shot through those gaps and JT never had a chance. Lucky there was no turnover. Every year it seems like Bud does this where they either get or come close to a turnover because their DTs shoot the gaps and disrupt the mesh thus resulting in a loose ball. Why don't our Olinemen adjust to this? Or Justin recognize that those gaps are vulnerable and call a speed option to counter it? It was really annoying to watch because you could see it a mile away and Bud manages to do it every year. Why does PJ not have an answer for this?
